Gregg Einhorn was raised in the Midwest and educated on both coasts of the United States.

A number of years ago, he traded in the sunny skies of Santa Monica, California for the considerably wetter ones of Portland, Oregon where he can no longer frolic in his shirtsleeves in the middle of December. Prior to dedicating his life to pixels, serifs and encapsulated postscripts, he worked as an art handler, a high school sculpture teacher and an ophthalmic photographer. He holds an MFA in sculpture from UCLA and a BA in Fine Art from Brandeis University.

As an artist, Einhorn exhibited his sculpture and video installations in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Boston, including a temporary site-specific public sculpture for the city of Santa Monica. His artwork was featured in ArtforumFlash Art, Art MonthlySPIN and Yeti magazines.

He shares a birthday with Isaac Newton, General Tom Thumb, Michael Stipe, Ann Magnuson, Mark Hollis, and Vanity.
